Linux Desktop Evolution

KDE 2001

KDE desktop in 2001. My favorite part of this desktop is probably the cool Netscape Nagivator icon I snagged from Slashdot at some point.

KDE Redhat 2003

This is how my KDE desktop looked in 2003, on my old Redhat 7.3 machine. The cool Netscape icon remains, but I had switched to Mozilla at this point (see the custom red dinosaur icon).

KDE 3.5 Gentoo

This was my final KDE 3.5 desktop on my Gentoo desktop machine. The most interesting additions to this is the Super Karamba control panel on the desktop, and the neat weather icons my sister designed. This same icon set has also made its way onto the Kiddix desktop!

KDE 3.5 Gentoo Busy

3.5 again, this time with a busy desktop.

FVWM Gentoo Laptop Clean

My FVWM setup on my laptop. My current laptop UI still looks very similar to this image. One of my favorite parts of the desktop is the Bubble Fishy Mon in the lower right corner of the screen.

FVWM Laptop Busy

FVWM setup with a busy desktop.

FVWM Desktop

FVWM setup on my desktop machine. This is heavily based on my laptop configuration, but slightly tweaked.
